About SMT

Mr Sanjay Goyal
Sanju Memorial Trust (SMT) was found on 9th September, 1998
by Shri Surinder Goyal
in loving memory of his son
Mr. Sanju Goyal.

SMT with its unique and progressive ideas came into existence at Hardwar

on 6th April, 2000

in the form of rennovation of “Bal Yogeshwar Dham.”

This building is located near Birla Ghat on the banks of holy river Ganges surrounded by various temples and ashrams in the heart of Hardwar. All this makes it a unique and satisfying experience to visit such a divine place of holiness, serenity and austere beauty.

SMT emerged as a centre for pilgrims, patients and scholars, all rolled into one; as the enclosure contains

A majestic and enchanting TEMPLE

A DISPENSARY

A GUEST-HOUSE for the pilgrimists and other visitors

A COMPUTER INSTITUTE with all-modern equipment and amenities.

This Trust was established with a view to promote the social and welfare activities for the poor and needy masses, irrespective of their caste, creed and religion.

Main objectives of SMT are:

To establish, maintain and support dispensaries and nursing institutions.
To grant subscriptions and donations to hospitals, convalescent homes, orphanages and other institutions catering to public interest and other welfare activities.
To distribute food-items, clothing and other necessary daily needs to poor and under-privileged public.
To promote educational and high-end learning activities for all
